Well, right now it's a very nice number for Pittsburgh, as the team is well over .500, and ahead of everybody else in baseball (even the Red Sox!). And this is good for anybody in Pittsburgh who is tired of losing.
Contributing the most to this success, or at least as of late, has been Starling Marte, who had a very nice debut for them last year. He's reminding a lot of people of Barry Bonds...except for the whole 'getting traded and abusing steroids' thing.
I really hope the Pirates keep the whole 'winning' thing up. And I hope that last sentence isn't ironic in a couple of hours.
