A Belated Anniversary

SAO #13- Baltimore Legend Cal Ripken Jr.

Last night, in honor of the anniversary of his 2131st consecutive major league game, Cal Ripken Jr. threw out the first pitch at the Orioles game.

As someone who saw Cal play in his last few seasons, and was reminded by my dad as to how important this distinction was, I know how huge Cal is in Baltimore. And I have the utmost respect for him. So, the fact that it's been 20 years since that big milestone blows my mind.
