Not much to preface this one. I love Topps Update, I hate its collation, let's hope we get a good pack, and an Ichiro.
290- Joaquin Benoit. What a sad story. On the Rangers his whole career, then on the year they get good he's traded to the Rays. At least he helped lose the World Series this year.
114- Jeremy Guthrie. I thought I heard trade rumors a billion times revolving him, before he was actually traded.
233- Jose Arredondo
218- Alfredo Aceves. Reportedly had a pretty okay season for Boston.
270- Luis Ayala. I feel like Topps stole a potential custom card shot here.
87- Andrew McCutchen AS
327- Chris Sale AS
148- Paul Konerko AS. Kinda got shafted at the ASG, but Topps'll never print a card of the one guy who keeps making the ASG and performing, Matt Wieters
325- Joel Hanrahan AS
202- Mark Trumbo HRD. May not have had the firepower that his teammate(s) have.
160- Marco Scutaro. Had a great season for the Giants
128- Dan Straily
23- Matt Harvey RC. This could be a nice card, judging by his debut.
236- Lucas Luetge
157- Kole Calhoun
105- Mat Latos, who could have done a bit better for the Reds
121- Johnny Damon. Sadly, I have this one
155- Franklin Morales
56- Matt Diaz. Great throwback shot
59- Jerome Williams. At least the Angels' announcers finally stopped calling him Jeromy.
291- Jesus Montero RD. At least he's a Yankee here.
75- Rafael Furcal AS
271- Ryan Braun AS. I think his credibility has returned after a year
68- Fernando Rodney AS. What a season he had.
285- Ian Kinsler, the reluctant new Rangers captain
315- Ross Detwiler
237- Prince Fielder AS
206- Cole Hamels AS. What a great pitcher
90- Michael Saunders. Are we done with his bandwagon?
146- Casey Kotchman. And his? He has less home runs than Miguel Cairo
35- Craig Breslow
97- Shelley Duncan, now a proud starter for the Indians.
215- Brain Bogusevic
324- Jamey Wright
253- Ryan Webb, one of the few Marlins spared.
272- ICHIRROOOOOOO! ON THE YANKEES! WOOHOOO!
292- David Ortiz AS
177- Mike Napoli AS. Sighhhh...
221- Drew Smyly RC. Not played by Gary Oldman. Or Alec Guinness.
201- Jason Frasor
318- Anthony Bass
39- Cory Wade, who did a decent enough job for the Yanks.
225- Josh Lindblom
139- Zach Greinke, now a Dodger. An overpriced one at that.
147- Steve Delabar, apparently a pretty big deal.
16- Patrick Corbin
188- Dallas Keuchel
185- Donovan Solano
246- Miguel Cabrera AS GOLD #'D TO 2012! WOW, I ACTUALLY GOT A STAR GOLD CARD!
182- Kung Fu Panda RED CARD
273- Yadier Molina RED CARD
280- David Wright GOLD SHINY CARD
98- Domonic Brown, who should be a lot better, GOLD #'D TO 2012
27- John Buck, now a Blue Jay, GOLD #'D TO 2012
ICHIRO 87 MINI! THAT'S AWESOME!
Golden Moments of new Angel Josh Hamilton
Blockbusters of Ken Griffey Jr. I think these are cool.
Golden Giveaway card. This better be a freaking card-
A...Detroit Tigers coin. I really, really hate this thing.
281- Matt Reynolds
142- Erik Bedard. Yeah, he's kinda done.
223- Boone Logan
207- Greg Dobbs
304- AJ Ellis, doing a fine job covering for Russell Martin
118- David Freese AS
143- Jose Veras
135- Clay Hensley
124- Brad Peacock, the most overhyped rookie of the year
238- Shawn Camp
176- Brad Ziegler
170- Jerry Hairston
294- Sergio Santos
305- David Price, Mr. AL MVP.
Well, that was a solid box right there, with some nice Golds and nice Ichiros.
