At the beginning of the season, Boston's pitching staff was praised, and welcomed as one of the best in the AL. Now, their two best starters are on the DL, and people have started betting on when Erik Bedard will follow suit. Jon Lester and Tim Wakefield remain in a rotation shattered by injuries, on a team of hitters praised by New England. But Lester is a good asset to have on a injury-tattered rotation. He's been pitching pretty well for a few seasons, and had been struggling to stay off the DL himself. But hopefully he'll stay strong...hopefully not strong enough...
