I mean, wasn't that a fun matchup? You had two teams that were definitely fighting for it, and that took leads at separate parts of the game, and made it a really tough one to decide.
I have to hand it to the Royals for pulling through here, because I didn't think it would happen, and I'm a little glad it did. Because they took down a big threat for the playoffs, and are now an underdog team going deeper into the postseason, which is really good.
Unfortunately they'll play the Angels for the ALDS, which may be a well-fought battle, but the Angels are indeed the heavy favorite, and it may not be the outcome they want. But it could go either way. They were the underdog tonight and won, so who knows how well it'll go then.
